It all started this morning... when I smelled sunflower seeds. I even went over to my mom to check if she was eating any. She wasn't. Well, I didn't really think much of it.

A little while later, my mom came in and gave me my Cingulair(sp?) which is just an allergy medicine. Normally it tastes really really good, but this time I almost gagged on it. And it sort of tasted like rotten sunflower seeds :\

Following that, I ate a popsicle to get the taste out of my mouth. Then I started feeling really really sleepy. Like... sleepy. I went and told my mom and asked if I could lay down, and she sort of thought I was just being overdramatic xD; since my eyes were all droopy and stuff. And she was like, "If it's that bad, you should go to the doctor!"

Then suddenly my heartrate picked up a lot, it was beating in my chest so fast, and I panicked. It felt like I was gonna pass out. But not in a good way :\ So she saw this and asked if I needed to call 9-1-1 and I said yes, so she did. Seriously, for a second there I thought I was having a heart attack or something :\

So the ambulance came and while I was waiting I was really having to fight to stay awake. And I had slept like 10 or 11 hours the night before :\ and it was before noon. But yeah when the ambulance guys came in they seriously kept having to repeat the questions over and my mom kept saying my name 'cause I was about to doze off there or something...

Then they checked my heartrate and breathing vitals and everything seemed okay... so they asked if I wanted them to take me to the hospital, or if I wanted my mom to drive me there, or if I wanted to just stay home. I was feeling a little better, but I didn't want to risk staying home and having it happen again :\ so my mom said she'd drive me to the hospital.

But just then I got really nauseated and had a lot of trouble breathing > < And I threw-up. Immediately I felt a lot better, but still :\ So I asked if I could go there in the ambulance XD;

And yada yadda, hours spent in the hospital, pricked and poked and all that.

But they didn't know what was wrong :\ All my tests came back normal. They thought maybe I accidentally took my mom's medication, but I didn't because when I got home I checked the bottles and my mom's bottle has a much bigger cap and I would have noticed xD; So they thought maybe I had an allergic reaction to my medicine... but I had been taking it for a few weeks with no problem o-o;

Then just a little while ago I heard my mom whispering to my dad, and she said it might have been a seizure... So I did some internet research, and a lot of things add up.
-the sunflower seed smell and taste (an aura)
-the rapid heartrate and fear
-the almost-loss of consciousness
and now that I think about it... I think my right thigh was sorta twitching.

So I'm thinking that was probably it... Are any of you guys familiar with seizures? Does it sound like one?

Sigh... what a crappy day... it's 8:11 pm now and I feel really sleepy again and I hope it's just because I had a long day and not another loss-of-consciousness episode ;___;
