Critiques
I love this picture. Your style and ability to express emotion shows up VERY well in this, especially in the eyes. I like the intense colors towards the front of the picture, and how they fade to more saturated colors in the background. The vibrant stars in the sky also compliment the color combo. I also like the hints of other colors towards the foreground, it seems almost like a subtle rainbow. (in a good way) The anatomy is dead on-considering the pose you took into play, it's very impressive.
The fur shows direction, but it seems a little lacking in texture. While the highlights are very notable here, your shadows are hard to spot out, which is a little odd if there is intense lighting, since the shadows would be much darker.
However, this picture is still beautiful. I like the hints to sort of "paint splatter" and brush strokes in the grass. It helps convey movement and it makes it have a very nice texture and mood.

First of all the anatomy is spot on, and the lining seems to flow effortlessly. The line thickness seems really well controlled, and it works out well here, and I'm just curious what it would look like with thinner lines just in general? Regardless, what you have here is brilliant.
The fur- I like how you gave the fur direction, and added depth to the overall figure, it seems like it should be there and its not just a texture going over the image. The shadows in the fur seems good, but maybe you should add a few random highlights on fur strands. There is soft highlighting like on the shoulder and front leg, but maybe add a few more highlighted parts.
Granted, the coloring and shading in the picture overall is very well balanced. There seems to be some sort of light source off the page, a train maybe? You show the illumination perfectly (: I love the background also, but its a little difficult for me to see [then again that might be my monitor settings
The emotion in this picture is evident, and excellently displayed. The expression works perfectly and the overall feeling of the picture is subtle but strong.
